Custom tutus
I created many new items for Glendale Days but still haven't gotten pictures posted. Glendale Days was a huge success and I plan to set up again next year. My next stop will be the Junior Women's League Holiday Showplace at Pritchard Community Center on November 13th and 14th. Stop by and check out my booth!
Thanks to an order at Glendale Days, I created two custom tutus and headband sets for a friend. I'm sure her 7 month old granddaughter will look adorable in these!

Buttercream creations
My mother has always been a famous baker (in my book and many others!) and sells specialty cakes like red velvet and Italian cream from time to time. She's always been interested in taking cake decorating classes. So with my new found love of baking I pushed her into taking a class with me and we've had a blast. Here's a picture of my first creation using buttercream icing. Not completely perfect but I was proud of it and it was delicious if I do say so myself! It's a yellow cake with strawberry preserves as a filling, iced and decorated with buttercream icing. I've even had my first order for a birthday cake which I am working on tonight. Who knows, maybe another business endeavor for me! :)

Hosting a Wedding Shower
Another love of mine...planning and hosting parties! I have helped with a few weddings, planned and hosted parties at work, and love every bit of it. From the planning to the decorating to the hosting, I just really enjoy it. I coordinated a shower for my brother-in-law and fiance this weekend. I thought it turned out nice. We served finger foods as well as desserts that included another one of my fondant cake creations, a strawberry cake topped with chocolate fudge icing and fresh strawberries, and my favorite-a chocolate fountain! Need help coordinating a special event, let me know!
Gift sets
A friend and co-worker of mine recently purchased some gifts for upcoming baby showers. She requested two sets of diaper wipe cases and matching burp cloths, one for a baby girl and another for a baby boy. I thought these fabrics were adorable and I hope the mommies-to-be agreed! I finished the gifts off by tying coordinating ribbon around the set.
$17 for matching gift set.
